This Privacy Policy describes how RING TAP (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App.
The App collects the following information:
| Data | Purpose | Collected via |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous account ID | Identify your device across sessions so your best score and friends list persist | Supabase Anonymous Authentication (generated on first launch, not tied to any personal account) |
| Nickname | Display your name on the leaderboard | You choose it in-app; you can change it anytime |
| Score | Power the global and friends leaderboards | Recorded automatically when you finish a game |
| Friend code | Let you add friends by sharing a 6-character code | Generated automatically per anonymous account |
| Advertising identifier | Serve and measure ads | Google AdMob (see Section 3) |
| Google account email address (optional) | Back up your account so you can restore your nickname, scores and friends after reinstalling | Only if you choose to link a Google account in the leaderboard screen (see Section 3) |
Everything except the last row is collected for every player. The Google account email address is collected only if you actively choose to back up your account with Google; linking is entirely optional and every feature of the App works without it.
We do not collect your name, phone number, precise location, or contact list. The App does not require you to create an account with a password, and we never collect your Google password — the sign-in is handled by Google.
The App shows ads (banner, interstitial, and rewarded video) through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use advertising identifiers and other data as described in Google’s Privacy & Terms and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device’s ad settings (e.g., “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android, “Limit Ad Tracking” / App Tracking Transparency on iOS).
If you tap “Back up with Google” in the leaderboard screen, the App uses Google Sign-In to link your anonymous account to your Google account. We receive only the email address of the Google account you select; we do not receive your password, and we do not request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google service. See Google’s Privacy & Terms.
This step is optional. If you never tap it, no Google account information is collected and nothing else about the App changes.
Leaderboard data (anonymous ID, nickname, score, friend relationships) is stored with Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider. If you link a Google account, the linked email address is also stored with Supabase as part of your authentication record. Supabase does not receive any data beyond what is listed in Section 1.
You can delete your RING TAP account and everything stored with it at any time, through either of the following routes.
Open the leaderboard screen and tap “Delete my data” at the bottom. Confirm the prompt. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Email dyfam.contact@gmail.com with the subject line “Delete my RING TAP account”. To let us find your account, include your 6-character friend code if you still have it, or the Google account email address you linked if you used the optional backup. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.
Your account and the data listed above are removed from our active systems immediately when you delete in the app, or within 30 days of us receiving an emailed request. Copies held in our provider’s encrypted backups are purged on their normal rotation and in no case are retained longer than 30 days after deletion. We keep no identifying data about you after that point.
Deleting your account does not require you to stop using RING TAP. The next time you open the app, a fresh anonymous account is created and you can play normally.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
